This is among the inferior technologies unless you are going for 100% automatons efficiency. Engineers can be boosted by shrines and agitators, but not automatons. This technology merely make automatons on par with engineers. Automatons obtain more value working at places that only operate during the day, like Tech Workshop and Hothouse.
