Overdrive Couplings is one of the Technologies in Frostpunk. Raises heat levels by +2, instead of +1, when the Generator is in Overdrive.

A highly useful technology. It can be seen as a way to save coal, or also to prepare for temperature drop.
The technology reduce coal consumption by allowing a hotter heatzone without a corresponding increase in coal consumption. The effective coal saving is at least 48 coal/day; The coal reduction increases with more steam hubs and longer generator range.
